Teens

Hi, I’m Lena! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, most folks find me someone who is easy to relate to. I am a casual individual and my favorite things include watching and playing sports, crafts and anything Disney.

I understand that today’s world can feel overwhelming. With high expectations and exposure to stressful events, it’s common for young people to experience anxiety, depression, or fear.

I’m here to help. I work with teens aged 13 and older (and occasionally 12, on a case-by-case basis) to navigate these challenges.

Are we a good fit? My approach is goal-oriented, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Together, we’ll set specific goals, work on them during our sessions, and you’ll have some “homework” to practice your skills outside of therapy. The ultimate aim is to empower you to manage your symptoms and confidently transition out of therapy with the tools you need for self-management.

Let’s take this journey together!

Meet Lena

Your confidentiality is important to me. My office is a private room with a shut door. I use HIPPA compliant phone, fax, texting and Electronic Medical Records system for communications. Sometimes my dog Arlo will join me while I work to sit at my feet.

A little about Lena

I have lived in the Seattle area since 2005. I graduated from the UW with my MSW in 2011 and added an MBA in Health Care Management in 2024. I am an adventurous soul that loves to laugh and to see beauty around me. I am not afraid to be bold and played ice hockey for a few decades. I live with my spouse, two children and a dog. I love to cook, camp and share anything I cook with others.
