Therapy

Hello, I am Magdalena Johnson, LICSW, a dedicated Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of experience supporting individuals through various life challenges. Most everyone calls me Lena. My journey has been shaped by working closely with clients with anxiety and those navigating significant life transitions.

My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention. Both are a framework that empowers individuals to identify and change thought and behavior patterns. I am licensed in Washington, California, and Oregon.

I believe in meeting my clients where they are, understanding their unique needs, and fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Together, we will explore your strengths, challenges, and aspirations in a safe and non-judgmental space. My goal is to support you in achieving greater self-awareness, resilience, and overall well-being.

Clients should expect a therapist who can listen to your challenges, smile and celebrate your wins, and find humor in the “crud” that comes with life.

I look forward to partnering with you on your path towards personal growth and positive change.

Please check with your health plan to confirm Magdalena Johnson NPI 1972902864 (Roundtable Therapy and Consulting Pllc) is in network. Private pay clients may receive a “superbill” to submit to their health plan for reimbursement.

Meet Lena

Your confidentiality is important to me. My office is a private room with a shut door. I use HIPPA compliant phone, fax, texting and Electronic Medical Records system for communications. Sometimes my dog Arlo will join me while I work to sit at my feet.

A little about Lena

I have lived in the Seattle area since 2005. I graduated from the UW with my MSW in 2011 and added an MBA in Healthcare Management in 2024. I am an adventurous soul that loves to laugh and to see beauty around me. I am not afraid to be bold and played ice hockey for a few decades. I live with my spouse, two children and a dog. I love to cook, camp, start DIY home projects (not finish) and share anything I cook with others.
